If it has two wheels, a chain and requires muscle power to move, I've probably ridden it. I've had some good adventures on my bikes and always have my eye out for a new one.

Cruisin'

The plane on the ground is my ride to the boat. It's a C-2A Greyhound aka COD. COD stands for cargo on-board delivery. Quite the majestic beast, eh?

This is a T-45 training jet. There were a bunch of new pilots getting their first carrier landings under their belts on the boat.

Here's your favorite blogger on the flight deck. Note the cheesy grin. The flight deck is a very busy place. We were very limited on where we could go on the deck so as to prevent getting sucked into a jet intake or having a helicopter propeller take off our head.

Here is a shot of the stateroom I stayed in. Check out the triple stack bunks, or racks as they say in the Navy. This was considered spacious. Junior officers bunk six to a room.

Here's a picture of the island. This is where the bridge is. The Air Boss does his work from the top level of windows.
